Activated Carbon
High-performance adsorption media for water treatment, air purification, and industrial applications.

Key features
Activated carbon is a highly porous adsorption medium with an exceptionally large internal surface area. Ours is produced from sustainable feedstocks through controlled carbonization and activation, delivering consistent quality for industrial applications.
Our activated carbon meets the grade when it comes to specification - quality guaranteed.
We offer a range of grades and particle sizes, including granulated and pelletized.
We can take away your used activated carbon, and reactivate it, further extending its useful life.

What is
activated carbon?
Activated carbon, is a form of carbon that has been processed to develop an extensive network of microscopic pores. This dramatically increases its surface area, making it highly effective at adsorbing contaminants, impurities, and unwanted substances from liquids and gases. A single gram of activated carbon can have a surface area exceeding 3,000 square metres, providing exceptional capacity for filtration and purification.
Produced from carbonaceous source materials such as coconut shells or wood, activated carbon undergoes carbonization followed by steam or chemical activation. Unlike untreated carbon materials, its highly developed pore structure and vast internal surface area allow it to capture and hold a wide range of organic and inorganic compounds through adsorption, making it indispensable across water treatment, air purification, gold recovery, and environmental remediation.

Key characteristics
Exceptional adsorption capacity - Surface areas exceeding 1,000 m²/g enable superior contaminant removal across liquid and gas phase applications.
High purity and consistent quality - Controlled production processes deliver reliable performance with minimal variability between batches.
Versatile across multiple industries - From water treatment to gold recovery, activated carbon adapts to diverse industrial requirements.
Designed to integrate into existing treatment and processing systems, activated carbon enables cleaner outputs, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency across a wide range of sectors.

Activated carbon applications
Activated carbon removes hydrogen sulphide, siloxanes, and VOCs from raw biogas, protecting downstream equipment and ensuring compliance.
Activated carbon is used for decolourisation, taste and odor removal, as well as purification of ingredients. Its food-grade purity ensures product safety while maintaining quality.
Activated carbon is essential in pharmaceutical manufacturing and fine chemical production. It removes colour bodies, organic impurities, and trace contaminants.
